BIO Angela Wisniewski is a social media manager & digital content creator with keen interests in style, art & music. After earning her bachelor’s degree in public relations and journalism from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, she produced her own fashion/culture website for WDIV-Local 4 News. Following her job with the Post-Newsweek Station, Wisniewski took on the position as editor of Real Detroit Weekly, overseeing the entire editorial department and taking a large role in introducing a digital presence for the long-running alternative print magazine which has since merged with Detroit Metro Times. Craving a need to further expand her skills in the ever-evolving social media realm, Wisniewski founded Hey Angela Inc., a one-woman creative company specializing in styling, product photography, brand + community management and social media content. Her broad range of work has linked her to companies including Polaroid Eyewear, Shinola®, Jim Beam®, ALDI, Atlantic Records, Library Street Collective and more, in addition to a roster of small independent businesses from Commonwealth Cafe to OPTIK. In her free time, Wisniewski enjoys volunteering at Detroit-based non-profit Alternatives For Girls, riding her motorcycle, traveling and coffee.
